Brick slips
Better for your project and better for our planet
We offer carbon negative and low carbon brick slips. They are made from soil, sand and a lime-based binder. Whereas lime is traditionally made at 900C, we have developed a process that can be done at room temperature to make our unique e4E lime. We use our e4E lime in our carbon negative brick slips and traditional lime in our low carbon slips. Our materials are compressed, rather than fired, and fully recyclable.
N10 carbon negative brick slips
Material: Soil, sand, 10% e4E low emission lime
Usage: Suitable for indoor and outdoor use
Installation: The slips can be used in exactly the same way as traditional clay-fired slips and installed using adhesive and mortar or using a brick slip system.
Dimensions: 215 x 65 x 20mm
Coverage: approx. 60 slips per m² (depending on joint)
Weight: Approximately 580g
L10 low carbon brick slips
Material: Soil, sand, 10% traditional lime
Usage: Suitable for indoor and outdoor use
Installation: The slips can be used in exactly the same way as traditional clay-fired slips and installed using adhesive and mortar or using a brick slip system.
Dimensions: 215 x 65 x 20mm
Coverage: approx. 60 slips per m² (depending on joint)
Weight: Approximately 580g
Our range
We make our brick slips in two ways:
- Compressing them directly into brick slip moulds
- Cutting them from our full sized bricks
Through this, we can offer a wide range of colours and finishes.
Earth-based and 100% recyclable
Our slips are made from excavated soil from construction projects that would otherwise go to landfill. They are breathable, durable and fully recyclable too!
Permanent carbon capture and storage
The brick slips capture carbon dioxide directly from the air and permanently store it, even after recycling

Cut brick slips
The cut slips are available as carbon-negative beige brick slips and low carbon grey brick slips.
Finishes
Both are available in either a smooth finish or a rustic finish, which features a natural textured surface that highlights the raw beauty of the earth used.

Our compressed brick slips are available in a wide range of colours and we can also offer bespoke colour and size options.

Transform your project, sustainably
Versatile, beautiful and eco-friendly brick slips
Our low carbon and carbon negative brick slips can be used in the same way as traditional slips and with existing brick slip systems. We are also currently developing our own rail system.
They have already been used in a range of projects, including as feature walls in offices and restaurants. This includes Wei Dao restaurant in Croydon, London, where a showcase of our brick slips in our brick rail system is currently on display in the bar area.
